Nandana......... Nandana......... please wake up, you are getting late for office, Nandana is too lazy to wake up, her mother shanthi came running to her room.

Nandu can you hear me, get ready fast, do you remember? today you need to get permission from your office to leave early, we need to do some shopping, next week your uncle's friend's family is coming to our house.

Nandu started stretching her body lazily in bed and started asking for what ma? Their son is coming from abroad to settle down here, to look after his Dad's business and they are looking for a match for him, your uncle( Dad's elder brother) suggested our family.

Do you know? they have lot of businesses like textile industries, restaurants, your Dad's spoke to them and really liked them a lot.

Nandu got irritated after listening to her mom. Ma even we too have many industries, but I don't like to work in some thing which is established by Dad, that's the reason why I am working in a IT industry, to be self independent.

I told you hundred times , that I never wanted to get married in my life. I hate marriage, I want to be like this through out my life. Please don't force me.

I know why you are against marriage, you are still struck with your opinions based on the things happened in your past. That's common in every one's life, five years passed, still you are there. It is time to move on... you have a beautiful life ahead.

Look Nandu,Your Dad's doesn't know that you are against marriage and you are our only daughter, we have so many hopes on you, we want some one to take care of all our business and wealth after us.

Ma, Nandu starts shouting , Dont tell me all this nonsense. I am not going to meet any one, I am going to remain single. Shanthi where are you? Krishna starts shouting from his office room.

What are you doing? I have board meeting now in next half an hour, can you please serve me or ask servants to serve breakfast.

Krishna started having breakfast, Shanthi is getting nervous to tell her husband that Nandana is against meeting the family. Krishna would get upset and angry on both of them.

Krishna is a very strict businessman, who worked very hard all through the life to establish the business, they were a middle class family when Nandana was young, later he started small business and due to his hard work, they have established multiple industries and today he is one of the richest businessman.

He knew Nandana is very independent, he wants her to take over some of his business, he wants her to study abroad and get exposure, before taking over business. But Nandu is not interested to go abroad for her studies, he has observed she has become introvert from past few years.

She is their only daughter, when he asked her to work in his business, she said she wanted to work in IT for some time. He has agreed to it , so that she would get exposure to world. He want's to get married her to a well settled efficient groom, who can take over their business along with Nandu in future. So, he got to know this family through his elder brother.

Shanthi is getting nervous to tell krishna that Nandu is against marriage. She thought krishna would get angry, instead she thought she will some how convince nandana to meet the family and later she can think what to do....

Vineel received a call from his friend Raj

Hey Vineel where are you? I need your help man urgent, Can you please come to my home now.

Hey Raj what happened? Is every thing alright, No you come here we will let you know.

Vineel rushed to Raj house and knocked door, as soon as Raj opened the door, there was a huge sound all flowers fell on his head, all his friends welcomed him.

Vineel got angry, what the hell you are doing? As soon as I received call from Raj, I have rushed here.

Ramesh came to him and told, we have arranged a surprise farewell party to you.

Vineel became serious , his face became red, He is 6 feet tall , very fair and handsome, but he talks less and he is a bit introvert, He is good with his close friends especially Raj and Ramesh, but he is not comfortable with girls.

He tries to spend most of the time by himself, or at office working or Gym,weekends he hangs out with his close friends gang, when ever girls join their group, he feels discomfort.

He controlled his anger and told in serious tone, you all know that I don't like this parties, yes we know sir but as you are moving to India , we want to celebrate your farewell told Raj, especially "Sheela" want to celebrate, he stressed the word "Sheela".

Sheela has crush on him, but she is afraid to tell her opinion to Vineel, because she is afraid that he would totally avoid her. Vineel talks rarely to Sheela, but she likes his helping nature, his behaviour with friends, his attitude towards girls, though he is not comfortable in the presence of girls and talks less to girls, unlike his other friends, he is very decent to girls.

when ever she needs any help, he is the one who jumps in first, but she does'nt have courage to tell him, that she likes him. But, if she misses the chance now, it is gone for ever as he is moving to India. She had requested the other friends, and told them, that she likes Vineel.

She requested to arrange a meeting with him, so they arranged a surprise farewell to him, and after farewell , they thought a plan to leave Sheela and Vineel alone for some time.

Sheela is very tensed, after seeing Vineel's face, they know that he won't like all these, since this is last chance they don't want to miss it.

Vineel felt bad for a second, though he got angry, he immediately thought, that his friends would feel bad. Vineel knew that he gets angry quickly, he tried to control the anger so many times, but he couldn't, after a moment if he gives thought, he understands atleast in some situations, he wouldn't have got anger. But, asusual it is repeated again.

Vineel, called Raj, please cut this cake, so he started smiling and cut the cake, every one enjoyed the party and had nice food.

Sheela , came to Vineel and gave him a gift wrapped in small box.

Hey Sheela what is this? why are these formalities now? asked Vineel.

No, take this but dont open it for now please she said.

Raj, please come here once called Ramesh, I have totally forgot we need to go out and pick up a friend from airport.

Raj said yes, good that you reminded me and winked at Sheela, they wanted to leave them alone.

Vineel said, okay guys you carry on, I will go to home.

Sheela said, No Vineel, Please stay back till they come, my friend went out and she will come up in half an hour to pick me, till then why don't you give me company? As they are leaving too, I will feel bored.

Vineel said don't worry , I will drop you at your place. Sheela said No , I don't have my room key , as it is a surprise party , I came in a rush and forgot key.

He is not interested to stay, Ramesh also requested to stay back, he has no other option to stay back, he said come back soon.

As soon as they left ,Sheela felt relieved that ,she got some time to talk to him, at the same time she is so tensed to propose him, she started thinking, will he accept her proposal? what are his thoughts about marriage? what if he rejects her and stop talking to her.

Vineel asked, hey Sheela what are you thinking............

Sheela, are you here? asked Vineel.

Vineel started coughing.

Yes, Sheela went inside and got some water for both of them, she is getting tensed to tell Vineel, but she thought to herself, what ever happens, I will tell him today.

They both sat in the balcony,a cool breeze of air flew, Vineel asked her? So what's up? How is your job going?

She gulped some water and said fine, and asked him, Can I ask you some thing personal?

Vineel : Ofcourse

Sheela : You should not be angry , after I ask you some thing?

Vineel: No, he grinned, Is it some thing serious?

Sheela: Yes, Do you have any girl friend? or Do you love some one?

Vineel: What? are you mad?, Immediately he remembered that, he told her he won't get angry or upset. He said No, I don't have any girl friend and I don't have any plan to have one.

Sheela: What qualities , you expect in a girl whom do you want to marry?

Vineel: Marry? I don't want to get married Ms Sheela, But why are you asking this weird questions today?

Sheela : Why?

Vineel: I don't think I can handle a girl through out my life, I can't be a good friend to a girl, forget about being a good husband. But why are you asking me all this today?

Sheela: But, I will be good wife to you? will you marry me?

Vineel: He got shocked by her question, now he understood, why she asked him all these questions, I am really Sorry Sheela, I always thought you as my good friend.

I didn't expect this from you.

As I told, I can't marry you, But I wish you to get a very good husband.

Sheela broke down into tears, As she expected this answer from him already, But still when he said "No" she felt a pain in her heart.

Can you do me a favour Vinni?

Sheela, Please don't call me Vinni, I don't like to be called that way, call me by my full name Vineel, I had already told this to you and our friends.

Okay Vineel, can you please unwrap the farewell gift I gave you?

Sure, he opened it, it was a beautiful small cute teddy with a heart, which wrote "I miss you and I love you"

"I miss you and I love you too as a Friend" told Vineel, Thank you Sheela for your lovely gift.

Raj and Ramesh knocked the door, oh, they are here so fast.

As soon as they came, they noticed Sheela face pale and upset, they had guessed already what could have happened?

okay friends said Vineel, I am leaving now, it is getting late, I have to pack my things for the travel tomorrow evening and see you guys in airport.

He looked at Sheela and waved her bye.

Nandana? where you? At what time you are coming home? called Shanthi.

Nandana was seriously working in office, she suddenly remembered her mom's shopping plan told by her mom today morning.

She is not interested ,but she knew her mom won't leave her, Okay Ma, I will be there at the mall in next one hour and hung per her phone.

Who is it Nandana? asked Geetha , her colleague and best friend in office.

Nandu and Geetha met in the office 4 years back , and they are became close friends. They watch movies together, hang out with each other.

Geetha shares every thing happening in her life to Nandu, but Nandu doesn't share every thing to Geetha. Some how after her school and college friends, she never became that close to any one.

My mom,she want me to come to shopping.

Oh wow screamed Geetha, even I want to come, but I have a ton of work to finish.

Ok, I am not interested to go to shopping ,but my mom will not leave me,see you tomorrow left Nandana.

She met her mom in mall.

Shanthi, come Nandu,let us go to that Sari shop

Nandu followed her mom with out any interest.

Nandu, is a girl who can be compromised easily, some times even she doesn't like certain things, she will do it for her mom or dad/ friends. she doesn't like if some one gets hurt, that too by her behaviour.

So, she likes to compromise on simple things, but, marriage is some thing she doesn't want to compromise, so she is thinking ways to convince her mom, to avoid meeting them.

"Show me Sari's in latest design" asked Shanthi

Sales man started showing them all the new varieties, hold on show me that blue sari said Shanthi.
Nandu look at this blue sari, this looks great on you.

Nandu started looking other sari's, she suddenly saw a light pink color plain sari with white border and with white flowers , she picked that and said Mom, look at this, I liked it.

Is it, You don't like pink color right, you feel it looks pale on you, do you really like it?

"Yes" Mom when she said that, she felt a pinch in her heart, she suddenly remembered some thing and said " I don't link pink , but pink color looks good on me Isn't it?

If you like it , let us take it, they purchased the sari and left.

Nandana is sitting dull in the car, lost in her thoughts, Shanthi felt bad, she knew Nandu doesn't want to meet the groom's family, but she is afraid to convince her husband.

Nandu is their only daughter, she can't see her sad, at the same time if she gets married, she can atleast stay in same city , close to them. So, she first thought to convince her to meet the family first.

Shanthi held her arm and said, l know you are feeling upset, You don't want to meet them, your past is haunting you.

Nandu, Life teaches us some lessons with some experiences , if it good we have cherish them, if it is bad learn from them,but you have to move on, it is time for you to move on as well.

Tears rolled down from her eyes, Shanthi wiped the tears and told, who knows if you get married, you might find happiness in your new life. First meet the family, talk to the boy, If you like him then you can think, else you can reject him.

Nandu said, No Ma, I can't even think of meeting them.

But Nandu your Dad would be upset, He had already promised them that you are going to meet them. You always have chance to say "No" after meeting them.

Nandu , please do this for your dad, requested Shanthi.

Ok ma for Dad, I will meet them, Nandu is not interested, but she doesn't want to hurt her parents, so she decided to meet them.

Lakshmi, Did you receive a call from your son? Did he board flight? asked Mahendra.
What "my son", Is Vineel not your son? said Lakshmi with a smile.

No, he is not your son, he is my sweet little younger brother? said Sirisha.

No, he is not your son, or brother, he is my uncle said little Shreya, every one laughed.

Mahendra and Lakshmi has two children, elder one is Sirisha, who got married and settled in Singapore.
Her husband Srikanth, has some business there and they both takes care of Mahendra's business branch at Singapore too.

She has 4 year old little Shreya and she is pregnant with her second child, their came for vacation to India, as her brother is returning , she stayed back and her husband left.

They are fun loving, easy going family, Lakshmi knew Vineel is an introvert, doesn't mingle easily with any one.
He always helps every one, he is comfortable with closed ones, but by nature he talks very less.

He studied most of the time out side home, till high school he was with them, later he studied engineering in a different place at Boys college, as soon as he finished engineering, his Dad want him to join his business. He said he doesn't like to stay here and left abroad for MBA.

After MBA, he worked there for 3 years, now he is coming back.

Most of the time, he was away from home. He has a very few friends, as he studied in boys college, he has no friends who are girls, so she want a daughter in law, who understands his nature.

She asked couple of times, about his marriage, when he was abroad, he always says he is not interested to get married.

Now, they haven't told about this proposal, because they thought, if they ask him to come for marriage, he would postpone his trip.

So, they called him to take over his Dad's business, as it is the time.

After he comes here, they thought to tell him about this matter.

Lakshmi suddenly lost in thoughts, suddenly phone rang, she picked up the phone, Ma, I am about to board flight said Vineel, excited to see you all.

Immediately Mahendra pulled phone and spoke to him, Siri and Shreya spoke him, every one wished him for a safe journey and excited to see him.

Vineel waved all his friends, Sheela felt sad, but wished him "All the best"

Vineel boarded the flight and flight took off, he was thinking about his "New journey in India".

He thought to call Prasanth and let him know his arrival, he has to find his number after going to India.

Lakshmi, Mahendra ,Sirisha and Shreya are at airport to receive Vineel, they are so happy to see him. Vineel was so happy after he saw his parents, every one hugged him, and they started back in car to home.


Vineel was very happy to be in India , after 5 years almost, He was so happy to see India, lot of memories are running in his back of mind.


His parents visited him twice in US, but he has never been to India , after he left.


Little Shreya is so excited to see her uncle, she was talking to him continuously on the way.


Every one reached home, Lakshmi prepared so many varieties for food, he had freshened up, they all had a delicious food together and since he was in jet lag, he dozed off immediately.


It was weekend next day, they all had lot of fun together, Vineel's close cousins, uncles and aunts visited them, every one is happy to see him back. weekend went off with all these visits, Lakshmi is waiting for opportunity to tell him about the girl, whom they are considering for alliance.


Lakshmi called Sirisha and asked her to talk about the profile.


Vineel is playing with little Shreya, Sirisha called him.


Yes tell me sis whats up?


Siri told, that one of his father's friend, brother has a daughter , who is working as an software engineer, they are considering alliance for Vineel.


They had invited them for lunch this week.


Vineel was surprised! what is this? Why didn't you ask me before accepting their invitation?


Did I tell you or mom, that I want to get married?


I don't want to meet any girl , and I don't have any plans to get married.


Lakshmi pitched in what is this Vineel, You don’t want to get married now? You are going to take over your dad’s business, we thought, this is the correct time for you to get married.


Since the girl’s family is into business, same as us, they can understand your working style too.



Maa, I am to say this, I don’t want to get married, this is not only for now, forever.


Forever? Are you mad? Do you think we are going to leave you like this? Why don’t you want to get married give me one reason?


I don’t have any reason, I can’t find happiness in marriage, I can’t live with a girl, throughout my life.


Lakshmi came near him and said, never think like that Vineel about marriage, it is very beautiful, You talk to the girl once, I am sure you will find happiness with her.


Ma, If at all I get married, I am not sure, if I get happiness with her or not, But I am sure , she will never find happiness with me throughout life.


First thing she would ask me after marriage is “Divorce” do you want that to happen?


Stop it Vineel, said Sirisha, Don’t say like that, we have already promised them, that we are coming to their home, If you don’t like her, We can tell that after meeting them. Now, we can’t skip meeting them.


Why to meet and say No, I am NO any ways.


Lakshmi said, please Vineel, for my sake come there, later we will do whatever you say.


Vineel didn’t answer, for a sec his mother got relieved, atleast he didn’t resist, after meeting her , they can think about ways for convincing for marriage.



Geetha!!! Geetha!!! Come, I want to tell you something important, said Nandu.


They both took coffee and sat in café,


What happened Nandu? You said some thing important?


Yes, I am going to meet a family this Thursday, They are our uncle’s friends, they are trying to get me married to the boy in that family.


What??? Such an exciting news… Congratulations!!!!


Stop it!! I don’t want this marriage to happen, can you suggest me some ideas?



Why did you tell your parents about it? Said Geetha



I have already told, she is not listening, she is asking me to meet family first.


Ok, do one thing, when you meet them tell the boy, that you don’t want to get married.



Wow, it is a good idea, but if my parents come to know that I told him, they would make it an issue.

Nandu… are you still like this, come get ready?, we are getting late, uncle’s family is here, and we have to meet Lakshmi and Mahendra aunty’s family.

“Please wear the pink sari” Said Shanthi.

Ma, please!!! Said Nandu , she wore pink sari without any interest and her mom came from back and put light pink pearls chain on her neck.

“You are looking beautiful, but remove your nose ring, it looks old fashioned, boy came from abroad, he might not like it.” said Shanthi.

Nandu saw herself in the mirror, and she is looking stunningly beautiful, Mom, nose ring is my choice, I love it, I am not going to change my choices for strangers.

“I am not bothered about them liking me or not, I am not going to like them” thought herself in her mind.

Shanthi thought, if she force more, Nandu might become more aggressive, to change her mood she said “Pink color suits you Nandu, you like like a Princess in pink”. After hearing her mom’s words, she felt a pinch in her heart, and went and hugged her mom. Tears flowed from her eyes.

I can understand dear, this is very difficult for every girl, it is more difficult for you. But, this too shall pass, don’t worry.

Krishna came to them and said, come let us go.

“Oh My god , Mom ,come here” screamed her Sirisha.

What happened? asked Lakshmi.

Vineel again dressed in blue and white, what happened to him after going to USA, He had completely changed his attire, always blue shirt, Did any girl in USA said that you look handsome only in Blue shirt? said Sirisha.

“Yes”, you are correct sis, I didn’t understand her value then, Had I listened to her, I would have escaped this non sense today, Said Vineel, casually.

Who is she?

“Sheela”.

“Is she your girlfriend?” Oh, that is the reason why you are against this meeting, you could have told us earlier, your dad could have expelled you out of the house, said Lakshmi.

“I love you both mom and Dad, I can’t leave you, that’s why I have sacrificed love” said Vineel

“Stop kidding Vineel” said Sirisha, let us start it is getting late.

Sure, both Mom and sis, it is your duty to convince dad, I am going to come and meet them, but my answer is “No”.

I hate to do this, but because of you, I am coming there.

They reached to the restaurant, Vineel is enjoying time with Shreya, if Shreya had not been there, and he would have gone mad. He is trying to convince his family that he never wanted to get married, but they are forcing him.

He doesn’t want to hurt a girl, by coming , meeting her and rejecting her, when he is clear about his thoughts.

Shanthi , Krishna and his brother’s family welcomed them, they have already booked a family private lunch room.

They saw Vineel, he is 6ft tall, very fair , very handsome. Shanthi, liked him instantly, she already heard about family, she thought, Nandana will be lucky, if she agrees to them.

Nandu, was impatiently waiting alone in the lunch room, greeted them when they entered the room.

Lakshmi and Sirisha, looked at the girl and thought in their mind, “Wow she is so beautiful”, looked at each other’s face with a smile.

Krishna and his brother asked Vineel, about his career future plans.

Mahendra said “he is going to join in his business from next week”, they want him to get married him soon, so that he would be settled in his personal life too.

Krishna, knew about how successful , Mahendra businesses are, when he started his business 15 years back, he struggled a lot. He used to get some advices from Mahendra too through his brother, but later he lost touch with them, as he was working in a different business deal in Banglore for couple of years. Later, he too gained lot of profits in last 5 years, now they are almost equal in wealth.

They discussed some time about their ongoing business deals.

Vineel , thought to himself, “ I think this is business meeting, Is this how marriages happen in India?”.

Lakshmi and Sirisha, sat near Nandana , had some casual conversation.

Suddenly Krishna said, “Do you want to ask any questions to my daughter please go ahead?”

Mahendra said “Go ahead my son”.

Shanthi who sat near Nandana, pressed her hand and whispered slowly “Please wish the boy”.

Nandu turned her head towards Vineel and Said “Hi”.

Vineel saw her, both eyes met for a second, and said “Hello, its nice meeting you”.

He is feeling very awkward, uncomfortable, suffocating in that room, even Nandu is feeling same too.

“She gave an angry look at her mom, what is this?”

Both have silly thoughts running in their mind, they want to escape from this family drama.

Lunch came, let us have lunch first, everyone must be hungry.

Before serving lunch, Vineel told “I am vegetarian”, Please serve me veg food only.

Nandu’s uncle got surprised, you have studied abroad, lived there many years, but still you eat only vegetarian food?

“Yes” uncle replied Vineel.

Shanthi said , even Nandu eats only Vegeterian food, we forced her to eat meat, but she never accepts.

“Wow”, your both food habits are same, we always had a concern about Vineel’s food habits, now your both tastes are matching said Lakshmi.

“Life can’t be shared with same food habits aunty, God , Please show me a way to escape marriage ” thought Nandu in her mind.

Vineel is upset, he just want to leave that place, he is feeling irritated with all these.

Nandu, is making angry faces to her mom and talking to her thorough her eyes, "When are they going to leave?"

Shreya asked, Uncle did you see aunty? She is very beautiful.

“Suddenly he thought, if he can try to talk to girl personally he can say that, “He is not interested to marry her”.

But how, can Shreya help him? ………………. Let us see in coming episodes………………………………………

Vineel is waiting for opportunity to talk to Nandana personally, he called Shreya

Shreya can you do me a secret favour? I will buy you a chocolate?

“What uncle?”

When no one is listening, Go and tell aunty, that I want to talk to her.” Don’t tell this to any one okay?”

“Okay” she said.

Suddenly Krishna said to Mahendra,

If Vineel wants to talk anything personally to Nandana, they can go ahead and talk in the coffee area, what do you think?

“Good idea” said Mahendra

What do you think Vineel?

Vineel was so happy inside, he never thought he gets a chance so easily to talk to her, he was about to say “Yes”.

Shanthi intervened, she knew that Nandu would say to the boy that she is not interested in marriage, so she said “Nandu is feeling tensed, as this is the first time she is meeting a boy for marriage proposal, I don’t think she is comfortable with meeting the boy alone”.

“Maa you spoiled my plan, screamed Nandu in her heart”.

Lakshmi felt relieved, she knew the outcome of meeting too, she said “that’s ok, they can talk here before us, so that she feels comfortable”, she took advantage of this situation, Sirisha showed thumbs up without any one seeing.

“I have no questions” said Nandana.

“I have nothing to talk” said Vineel.

All of them waved good and they left.

As soon as they came from the restaurant, Nandu went to her room.

Krishna said to Shanthi what do you think? Very good family, boy is also very well educated, looks very decent, I feel this is perfect match for Nandu.

I am sure we will not get a better option than this, she will be in same city as us, we won’t miss her that much.

Infuture they both can take care of our businesses too.

“Stop your business deals”, said Shanthi, I will ask Nandana her opinion.

She went to Nandu’s room, she was lying in the bed crying.

Nandu what happened?

nothing maa, I felt so uncomfortable there, I don’t want this marriage said Nandu.

“Are you thinking about your past?”

Nandu didn’t answer, but Shanthi could see pain in her eyes.

“Love can happen twice” said Shanthi.

“How many days you will be like this?”, you have to move on in your life.

“Ma you don’t understand my pain and feelings”

I am your mother more than I understand you, who will understand. Your dad and I liked this profile so much, boy and his family is very good. I am sure you will be happy there.

One more thing, I want to tell you, if you reject Vineel, we will feel bad for few days, then your Dad will search for one more groom.

How many times you want to escape?

once, twice, thrice I will support you if you don’t like a particular groom. But, I am not going to convince your idea of not getting married.

Till now I haven’t told your Dad about your mad ideas, once he comes to know ,situation will not be this easy.

So, think from your end, if you don’t like Vineel give us proper reasons why you don’t like him?

If you want to get married and go and settle in abroad, let us know that opinion too, we respect anything ,but not the idea of “remaining single forever”.

One more thing, love can happen to anyone when you are in teenage, not every love leads to marriage.

Don’t think about your past too much and spoil your future, Your Dad doesn’t know all this, it would be very difficult for him to convince for love marriage.

“So what ever happened, think it happened for your good”, now start a fresh life with Vineel.

Once you get married , you will forget everything including us. So, remove everything from your mind.

Once again I am telling, if you reject Vineel, we will look for another groom, think about it said Shanthi and left room.

Nandu started thinking, she is close to her mom, she can’t express her feelings to Dad.

She can’t take a decision without talking to Vineel. She doesn’t have any reasons to tell to her parents for rejecting him.

She laid down on her bed and fell sleep with these thoughts, it was evening.

She woke up and came down, she called servant and asked where is mom?

“Are you coming to the office tomorrow with me or do you need some time?” asked Mahendra.

No Dad, I am ready said Vineel.

What do you think about Nandana? Do you like her? asked Mahendra.

Dad, I need some time to think he said.

Vineel is preparing presentation for his next meeting in 10mins, he is getting trained from his Dad in retail division. His desk phone rang.

Nandu was angry, she was about to throw the phone, immediately she became conscious.

What happened dear? Asked Geetha.

He said, cancelling marriage is my headache and it is not in his hands. “Marriage” is not in my hands, it is in my parents hands, but “Divorce” should be in my hands.

If he gets married to me, I will show him what “Nandana” is and make him to give divorce to me.

Hey stop it dear, you are getting married, don’t talk about divorce, who knows in future you don’t want to leave him.

More over Sirisha has to leave back to Singapore soon, so they are looking for the nearest date in next 10 days.

They got a very good auspicious date and time after 10 days, they have decided on it.

Since the time was very less, as they would call everyone to wedding, they thought no need of engagement.

After wedding date and time is fixed, Shanthi and Lakshmi felt relieved in their heart.

They all started wedding preparations from very next day.

Vineel is extremely busy with his new trainings in job, has no time to spend at home.

His family is doing all the shopping.

Wedding cards distribution has begun, Nandana has applied for leave in the office.

She is feeling disturbed, but she doesn’t have much option now.

Vineel called Prashanth and told his wedding is fixed and invited him.

“Hey Vineel congratulations” so fast, we didn’t even meet yet he said.

“yes”, I thought to meet you , but couldn’t any way , will see you on my wedding day.

Prashanth became silent.

Vineel said “hey what happened? are you okay”

They went to Sari’s and Lakshmi, sirisha selected a green pattu sari and said,

Look at this green sari Nandu, it looks so good, Vineel also loves green color, this Sari looks great on you.

Shanthi looked at it and said, Wow it is very nice, looks good on Nandu.

“No” Aunty, I liked the Red color Sari, and she showed the other sari.

Shanthi gave a sharp look to Nandu and pressed her hand.

Lakshmi and Sirisha were surprised but immediately said that’s okay, buy which ever one you like.

They purchased Red color Sari and few other saris.

They went to the suits collection, Vineel picked blue suit with white shirt inside.

Sirisha said look mom again he picks up blue.

I want to give meaning to my name “Vineel” which means blue, so I will wear the blue outfits.

They completed all the shopping and went to ice cream shop nearby.

Vineel ordered choclate icream with nuts for everyone.

“I don’t like chocolate icream with nuts” said Nandu.

Shanthi felt so embrassed, why is she doing all this, how do they feel she felt.

No one said anything, but Lakshmi felt bad inside, she knew about Vineel, he needs someone who will show extra care on him. But if this girl is objecting Vineel for everything, will they be happy together in future she thought.

With all these thoughts and confusions all wedding preparations are done and the wedding day arrived.

They have reception/dinner at around 8 PM and the wedding is in early hours.

Prashanth bought a nice gift to Vineel and started to wedding early as they are meeting after long time, he want to be with him during reception.

Nandana dressed in Red sari with matching jewels, she is looking very beautiful as bride.

She is getting ready for reception.

Wedding hall is decorated with lights and costly flowers; it had a huge decoration. Since Krishna and Mahendra are from business families, there is a huge guest list.

Krishna and Shanthi are busy in taking care of all arrangements.

There are lot of food items in the menu, over all wedding arrangements are very lavish.

There are many relatives, friends visiting her in brides room.

Lakshmi and Sirisha came with some of their relatives and introduced her.

Nandu thought to herself, “Is this dream or true” what’s happening I still can’t believe that I am getting married.

Nandu “You are getting married, this is TRUE not a dream.”

Vineel dressed in blue suit with white shirt inside, he is looking very handsome.

Shreya came to him and said, Uncle I just went and saw aunty, everyone says she is looking like princess, so you are the prince is that correct.

Srikanth came from Singapore, so Shreya was busy with her Dad, Vineel is very happy that his BIL is here.

Come Shreya let uncle get ready, if you are here you won’t let him to get ready, we will go and have icecream said Srikanth.

Suddenly she remembered her childhood friend Sindhu, tears rolled down her eyes, Sindhu why did you leave me? I miss you a lot now, Had you been there, I would have been so happy in my life.

During her college years, she was busy in her love life, then all sad, bitter experiences, breakup, she was scared of relations.

Her face turned sad after she remembered her breakup, she remembered her Moms words, Nandu forget everything else and move on, why are you struck there?

After many years she met Geetha in her job, she liked her, grew close to her though she didn’t talk about her past much with Geetha, definitely she is very close friend of her.

Shanthi entered the room, saw Nandu’s tears, what happened dear? Are you getting tensed? Don’t worry this is common for everyone, you will be alright and kissed her forehead.

Come it is time for reception, Krishna came to Nandu’s room and looked at her affectionately, he knew in some hours , his daughter is going to be someone else daughter in law, but it is inevitable.

Nandana tooks blessings of both of them and she went to reception.

She silently went and sat in the chair next to Vineel.

Vineel was busily texting in his mobile, he saw her sitting next to him but didn’t wish her.

She got angry, first of all she is feeling irritated with this upon that he didn’t even try to talk to her.

Nandana went inside for a minute when her cousin called.

Nandu came to the stage and stood beside Vineel.

Nandu suddenly came into senses, “Is Prashanth in India?” she thought to herself, if that is the case, why didn’t he call or message me?

Prashanth looked at her, she saw pain in his eyes, and she felt like his eyes are questioning her “why did you do this? I can’t forgive you for what you did.”

People say, time heals every one thing, is my heart really healed?

She remembered her mom’s words, the moment she thinks for forgetting the past and start a new life with Vineel, In some way or the other, or some situations which are making her to remember her past again and again, she is becoming upset and ultimately that is creating a resentment in this marriage.

Do I really want this kind of marriage? Or a happy married life?

Then what am I expecting in this marriage ? Am I really going to get a Happy married life?” she thought to herself.

He hugged Vineel and greeted Nandana.

Prashanth wiped his tears without Vineel’s notice, but Nandu observed that, she got tears from her eyes too, she was happy and sad after seeing Prashanth after a long time.

Nandu is feeling very sleepy, she is attending the rituals with half sleep, all the elders are very busy.

Shanthi was very happy, she had struggled a lot to make her accept for this proposal, now she is feeling happy.

Nandu felt emotional, she hugged her mom and both of them cried.

Lakshmi came to Shanthi, they both became emotional too, and probably they remembered their wedding days.

With emotional outbursts, Nandu left to Lakshmi and Mahendra house.

Prashanth waved good to them and left, Vineel insisted him to come home, He said he will meet them later.

They all sat in car, she sat beside Vineel.

Lakshmi and Mahendra are in this car, Sirisha , Srikanth and Shreya are in other car.

They all started back home, the roads were bad, she could sense the Vineel shoulder is touching her shoulder, when they are travelling.

She got frustrated and irritated and created some space between them and put a bag.

Vineel saw her, understood what she did and turned his face other side.

They all reached home, Nandu was feeling tired, blank, as soon as they reached home.

Shanthi and Krishna too reached their home in a different car.

Lakshmi introduced Nandu to her relatives families, she met all the relatives, except her FIL’s sister family, they didn’t come to the wedding as they have some family issues.

There are some rituals and by the time they finished all of them it was evening.

Every one left, Shanthi and Krishna too left.

she didn’t get a chance to talk to her mom as they were busy since morning.

Shreya is giving her company, Sirisha showed her some of the Sari’s.

Vineel left the place, he went inside bed room.

When Nandu was with every one, she was feeling fine, Once her parents left she felt lonely.

She is feeling inconvenient there, she doesn’t want to go to Vineels room.

All these days, someone or other was there, now she has to face all alone. She has to face him alone.

Lakshmi came to Nandana and said

Nandana ,Vineel is very good boy, he loves his family a lot, He used to be very fun loving but from past few years, he is keeping to himself, He became very introvert, He gets angry quickly, after he went abroad he changed a lot.

He became silent, so even if he says you anything, don’t take it to heart, If he loves someone, He will give life for them. He will go till any extent to help them, I am very blessed to have a son like him.

I wish you both will be happy like this and you understand him.

Ok Aunty, sure she said.

She thought in her mind, “Every mother will think about her son like this only, most of the mothers don’t know what their sons really are”.

Sirisha said now you go and sleep, you must be tired. We have moved all your belongings to your room.

Nandana is feeling very tired, she want to take bath in hot water and sleep.

Idea of staying with Vineel is irritating her, but she can’t escape now.

Nandana entered Vineel’s room, it was very big, with all shelves, wall has very good paintings.

She saw a picasa painting on the wall which was looking very beautiful.

Wall is colored in black and white, with small flowers on it.

Interior is looking awesome.

There was one more room inside his room, which he made as his office room which was neatly organized.

He was sitting there working on his laptop, office room has one big book shelf, with lot of books , it has a refrigerator and bed too.

His room is very well organized, she remembered her messy room and laughed.

Vineel looked at her, when she laughed and said.

What do you want? Why did you come here? He said without turning his head from laptop.

She was tired, sleepy and frustrated by hearing his question she got irritated. She didn’t answer his question

She quickly took bath, got ready, and wore a light purple dress with matching bangles, looking absolutely beautiful.

She came down the stairs and saw everyone at breakfast table, sitting and chatting.

Dad take me to the park today asked Shreya.

Our flight is midnight , we have to pack things said Srikanth.

When Nandu came, Shreya went running to her and said

Aunty, will you take me to the park? No one is listening to me she said.

Aunty , you have promised me to take to the park, let us go now came Shreya after Vineel and Mahendra left to office.

Sirisha and Nandana left to the park with Shreya.

Shreya started playing, Sirisha and Nandu sat in nearby fountain and started chit chatting by watching her playing.

Actually they have a daughter, whom they want Vineel to marry, but she liked someone from college, to which everyone in the family opposed.

Then Vineel went and helped them, He got her married with her boyfriend.

This triggered rift between two families, they are upset because, if Vineel hadn’t helped her, she wouldn’t have taken a drastic step to get married without parents.

Even my parents didn’t like Vineels involvement in her marriage, but we cannot change whatever is done.

So there were many arguments between two families, in the spur of moment, our uncle told my dad that we will know the pain if Vineel loves someone and get married without parents’ consent.

My Dad said that Vineel is never like that. He is pretty confident that he will get married according to our choice.

From then, they stopped visiting us, actually Nirmala aunty likes us, but since her husband restricts to visit our house, she is not visiting us.

Our cousin is settled in Canada now with her family, ultimately she is happy, and that’s what we want.

Vineel is like that, if he trusts someone or likes someone, and If he believes that they are doing right, no matter what happens, he will support them at the cost of anything.

Nandu felt nice for a second, when she heard about what Vineel did.

Come Shreya it is getting late for lunch, we have to go and pack our things too yelled Sirisha.

They went back home, Lakshmi arranged lunch for them, Mahendra came for lunch but Vineel stayed back in office.

All had lunch together, Nandu is feeling very lonely in new place, and she thought to visit her mom soon.

After lunch she helped Sirisha in packing her things.

In evening Vineel came very tired with meetings.

You came home finally, I thought we have to leave without seeing you. Said Sirisha.

Come let us go to airport said Mahendra.

Vineel said give me 5mins Dad, I will get ready and he went into his room.

Nandana was getting ready in her room to go to airport, she saw Vineel , he is looking dull and tired.

She was scared to talk to him, He got ready and left, without talking to her.

He didn’t even ask her to come to airport.

Lakshmi and Mahendra were busy with Sirisha’s family , they didn’t notice Nandana.

All got into the car and Vineel started car.

Hey wait said Sirisha “Where is Nandana?”

I thought she already sat in the car, Okay let me go and call her said Lakshmi.

Mom, we are already getting late, we are dropping off sister to airport, we are not going to Singapore, It is Okay even if Nandana doesn’t join us.

They didn’t say anything and they left to airport.

Nandu sat alone at home, tears rolled down from her eyes; she had just came today to this house, How can they leave her alone like this.

She missed her mom a lot, she remembered Geetha.

She called her mom and spoke for some time.

She told her mom, she is very happy here and she misses them a lot.

Shanthi asked her to visit once, she told she would call Vineel and invite them for dinner.

Nandu said okay and hung the phone.

She sat on the bed time is 10 PM night, she is not feeling sleepy, she looked in Vineel’s room, there are some wedding gifts lying down there, she didn’t feel like touching them.

Suddenly a gift there caught her attention; it has “Happy married life from Prashanth”

Prashanth, suddenly she remembered him, the way he questioned her with his eyes in wedding.

She took the gift and unwrapped it slowly.

It has a beautiful box which has a beautiful watch, a lovely photo frame with heart symbols and finally a ring.

She took the ring and observed it and got shocked, it is specially made, and we can change the shape of it by adjusting the sides.

She gave that ring to Prashanth and totally forgot about it.

“Is that the same ring?”

She took that ring into her hands, she remembered the past, suddenly she saw Prashanth visiting card too in the box, and it has his phone number.

She took her phone and saved the number.

Wait Nandana why are you saving his number? Do you want to call him? Talk to him asked her intuition.

“I don’t know” said Nandana to herself.

Will I be able to talk to him ? Isn’t it too late? Will he talk to me? Asked Nandana to herself.

She kept the gift items given by Prashanth in the box and kept ring too inside. She carefully wrapped the gift again and left it there.

What if Vineel shouts at her why did she opened the gift.

It is 11 PM night, Nandu is getting scared, and she was never alone in the house that too night, they might come to home after 2hours.

Initially she thought she will lock the office room door from inside and sleep, but she felt scared that she is alone.

She left the door open, as she is feeling very sleepy; she had adjusted her bed and slept.

Vineel came back from airport, he came into his room and switched on the light, his body is aching from last one week due to wedding preparations and lack of sleep.

He saw Nandana room door is opened.

She kept the window of the room open, it is very windy outside, and cool breeze is flowing inside.

She is looking beautiful in light blue salwar, she has anklets which are making sound when the breeze comes.

Vineel came inside, came closer to her, put his hand on her hand, she screamed don’t touch me and suddenly wake up from sleep.

No one is there.

Vineel was sleeping on his bed, woke up from his sleep, “What happened?”

“Why are you shouting at midnight? You don’t sleep properly, you don’t let others sleep, whats wrong with you?” said Vineel

Suddenly something fell at her leg, she screamed again “Ahhh”.

There is lizard here, I am getting scared come here.

Vineel came inside her room and switched on the light, he saw a bunch of leaves fell inside from window as door is open.

He quickly laughed and said “See your lizard there?”

She breathed a sigh of relief and said “Thank God” and asked Why did you come to my room?

Because you had shouted “Lizard” that’s why said Vineel.

Not now, when I was sleeping.

Are you mad? Don’t you think I don’t have manners?, I will never come into your room unless you ask, I was sleeping on my bed, you were shouting in the sleep, you had not only disturbed my sleep but also you are accusing me coming to your room, are you dreaming?

Nandu suddenly realized that it was her dream and said “ ok ok “ leave now.

I will not stay here , I don’t need your permission , please close that door , otherwise next time not leaves, lizards or rats will come inside, then if you shout also I am not going to come said Vineel.

I don’t need your help thanks said Nandana.

After Vineel left, she closed all the doors and slept.

Next day morning, while having breakfast Lakshmi said to Vineel

“Why don’t you take some days off Vineel, you and Nandu go out somewhere?”
