As Disney acquired 21st Century Fox, prepares its assault on the biggest streaming giant: Netflix. Ant-Man and the Wasp will be the last Marvel film to stream on Netflix, and the final remnant of the old Netflix Marvel deal.

Disney’s streaming service is expected to launch sometime in 2019.

BIG HIT to netflix. Time to sell off NFLX stocks.

Netflix is at all time high...it enjoyed dominance and monopoly for a decade...it has changed the way we watch TV and absolutely mean On Demand.

But Netflix is only a streaming service and it needs content. Refreshing content and content suppliers have realized that the best way to take on Netflix is by controlling content.

Netflix does know that such a day would be coming and hence started Netflix originals and have now ventured into content production which is not their core business and has to steer away from its traditional business and most profitable business of online streaming and now has to concentrate on content production as well increasing the over head costs.

In the days to come, third party content suppliers like Disney,Marvel,WB,Columbia,Sony etc who control majority of the content will have their own streaming channels and Netflix will be left with third rated content and will have competitors, straining the resources in the shrinking market.

Remember Blockbuster video ? Netflix is going to go the same way for sure and the only question is when..!!!!

Chill vuncle....ie sangati manakante ekuva service providers ke telsu le that each customer will not be able to afford all the subscriptions.

Its gonna be B2B2C model. These streaming players will tie up with either mobile service providers, communication companies, broadband service providers or we can even expect these services as a package deals on mobile phones or part of credit card deals....

with a meager $10, no company can make millions unless they merge their common interests and offer as a package which a customer mainly uses in everyday basis.

Netflix is not heading blockbuster way for sure

Netflix has gone global into places where streaming services have not penetrated, it has a decade of experience that no other service was able to replicate

original content meeda focus ekkuva untadi..the big media houses take up cheyani chaala projects netflix vaadu fund chestaadu

profitability may have peaked in US, growth is gonna come from outside

starz poinappudu koda ide annaru.. nothing happened.. we all know starz is as good as useless..enta mandi package teesukuntunnaru??

check their original content ratings..they are are not third rated for sure
