And also we may not stick to one place as we are consultants travelling across country based on projects....any good business Ideas ? Btw 5k max investment initially from each one of us is that suffciney to start?

Buy a 1 bed condo/apt in a city ( example Houston you can get it for 200k) tent around 1400-1500.

but you need 50k down - 10k each
