questions basic , DOB address , take u r i94 , it took 2 mins for mine 

They already have done all your background by now

When did you apply and when did you hear from them??... I had police verifcation done on Jan 10th 2018..

I applied on July 4, 2017 (first day of the program announced). attended Indian Passport office in Sep 2017 with immediate police verification but Conditional approval received on July 4, 2018. 

 

Most of my friends applied later also got approvals. Looks like they finally woke up from sleep and processing applications.

Thx for the update...you did any follow up with Indian passport office  for status tracking??

For Point 2:-  In addition to this, all Indian applicants must schedule an in-person interview at the respective Passport Seva Kendra/Passport Seva Laghu Kendra (PSK/PSLK) office as per their residential jurisdiction in India (as per the address furnished online).  -> Do we have any passport Seva Kendra in US? Or do we need to schedule only in India as per Point 3.

No, if you work for an employer like mestri, just his/her details is enough. No need to mention each end client location.

You have to go to India. But lot of people raising concerns on this and hopefully they will make changes to avoid trip to India.

No. They won't even answer your questions. The Indian Passport website generally have basic tracking to let you know if they completed their part or not. That is the only tracking available. Behind the scenes they will update US CBP ( Customs and Border Protection) regarding your background once they complete in India.

@Anta Assamey - dude answer all these below questions... if your answer yes... to all these dont worry about..

 

1. Are you Not a frequent traveller/domestic/international

2.You are okay to spend lot of time in security lines at airport

3. You are okay to spent lot of time in port of entry line and handling stress seeing POE officer

4. Dont have kids or not married yet..have all the time world in airport rush hour traffic in vacation spots to handle secruity check lines..

 

My answer is no for all these questions i felt the need for TSA-Pre specially disney and vegas kind of places... so its must for me since i have two kids we always  short of time we we reach airports... when they give TSA pre for 5 yrs along with global entry all included in 100$ why not... from this year india trips every year twice ...becuase i want to spend time with my aging parents... so this is like a blessing for me ...i heard from people travel is more smooth with this..i know process is bit weird and hard... 

This is all i can think of.. i will let other pitch in their opinion on GE.. i know  lot of people circastic on this Global Entry and paying 100$ and going through complex process... but only people with kids running through  airports in 11th hour to make their flight know the pain..
