Android_Halwa Posted August 14, 2018 Report Posted August 14, 2018 Ie Tayyip gadini thannali first...fed bank lo velu petti geliki interrstvratees ni control chestha ani kathalu paddadu...thought of implementing Islamic banking and all other non conventional stuff but as he was an idiot, he created an utter non sense in the market and currency lost its value. Investors lost faith in central bank, started pulling out investments, lending came to a stand still , external borrowing stalled, currency hit devalued causing interest rates to rise, property prices halved and stock market fell by 50%. All this happened since the last six months and finally last week, Lira rallied by 25% causing tremors. Enough damage has been created and if not controlled, Turkey will take entire EU down and might go the Zimbabwe way... Quote

It was Greece then, now Turkey. This crisis can be compared to the Asian financial crisis of 1998, started with routing of Thai Bisht. Quote
