Investors lost faith in central bank, started pulling out investments, lending came to a stand still , external borrowing stalled, currency hit devalued causing interest rates to rise, property prices halved and stock market fell by 50%. All this happened since the last six months and finally last week, Lira rallied by 25% causing tremors. 

Enough damage has been created and if not controlled, Turkey will take entire EU down and might go the Zimbabwe way...

This crisis can be compared to the Asian financial crisis of 1998, started with routing of Thai Bisht.

It’s not a battle field war to retaliate. 

Germany is the biggest block in EU and has loaned Turkey billions of dollars and Turkey will not be able to pay it back now on time. Genrmany and other EU nations need to bail out Turkey by providing with additional bail out package or else, it would become another Zimbabwe. 

Retaliation..!!! Weakening of EU and now hit by Turkey Crisis. RussiNs must be celebrating now Putin must have done with a series of vodka shots already.
