EE : its easy to prove by showing timesheets, some performance appraisals, health insurance card, payroll profile, W2 etc, attorneys have great experience on this one by now, so no issues

if the job is SO in CS, you need to prove you have body of knowledge on the same field either by proving your academics or equivalent of experience comparable to lack of academics (every 3 yrs of work experience is treated as 1 yr academic qualification, 12 yrs of CS experience is equal to 4 yrs bachelors CS in US)

the above is the safest scenario to get out of SO
