Staysafebro Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 How do the rules work with this? I am on H1. Can I invest in startups with the money I saved? What kind of documentation do I need? I am investing 50k for 25% share. Any good lawyers I can approach to do the documentation? Quote

I am only looking to take a share of the profits. Basically paying for the office and equipment costs. Slowly I want to reinvest as I see this sector booming. Quote
WHAT Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 2011 Yes, as long as you do not draw a salary from the company. Just take your share of the profits, and maintain your H-1B status by working for your present employer. Quote

Vaampire Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 Staysafebro okkadari nee id ni choosuko to be honest, i am not convinced with numbers. 50k for 25% antey ekkado koduthundi. Few companies spend millions in the process of obtaining fda approval. That amount completely depends on the product ley. i have invested in few medical stocks in the past. It takes huge amount for companies to be successful in medical field. They end up borrowing more and more money Quote
