Calling Uttermost.. " India unlikely to accept foreign donations for Kerala floods "

The government is unlikely to accept any foreign financial assistance for flood relief operations in Kerala, official sources said. They said government has taken a considered decision to rely solely on domestic efforts to tide over the situation. 

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has offered USD 100 million (around Rs 700 crore) as financial assistance for flood relief operation in Kerala. 

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, called up Prime Mini ..

i still dont understand .. why we need money .... We are paying army salary for emergency services(this different team for border protection ...every state have nearby army camp ) ...... . Indian government keeps budget every year for emergency serivce. 

india medical maintained by government mean lacks Dr readily available ...we can send them . 

neighboring states send foods and transportation  . ...

+ FCI warehouses are over flooding with grains..Rice/wheat etc..

they need man power as of now.. most keralites are rich and above poverty line families... infrastructure rebuild is needed that can be taken care by central with help of Army.

people lost their homes, their livelihood. It will cost to repair the damage atleast a little bit.

Kerala’s State Disaster Response Fund for the period between 2015 to 2020 is Rs 1,021 crore. Out of this, the central government's share is Rs 919 crore and that of the state government is Rs 102 crore.
