Rivera's attorney, Richards, lashed out at President Donald Trump for publicly declaring his client guilty at a rally Tuesday night in which he called the nation's immigration system a disgrace. He said his client was a hard worker with the equivalent of an eighth-grade education, had no prior criminal record and deserved the presumption of innocence and a fair trial.

"Sad and Sorry Trump has weighed in on this matter in national media which will poison the entire possible pool of jury members," Richards wrote in a court filing.

Trump noted the arrest at the rally in West Virginia: "You heard about today with the illegal alien coming in, very sadly, from Mexico and you saw what happened to that incredible, beautiful young woman. Should've never happened. Illegally in our country."

i am talking about attorney asking for fair trail tennis.. tatha vadi political mileage kosam vadukunnadu adi expected anyway coz his main agenda is closing US border.. tatha actually victims of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants tho parade chepichadu to take it more in to people.. few months back..ippudu mid terms kosam he wanna use this anthe..

Maynot tie into the H1B issue directly, but there will be ramifications. Esp since there will be more rejections starting September 11, a lot of H1Bs might turn into undocumented immigrants and might have to face the effects of anti immigrant policies.

Right okay that makes more sense. Attorney ante anthe ga mari entaina vaadi client ni protect cheyataniki ala chepthadu, but he had a point here about Trump's statements influencing the jury's decision. Seems like everything is perfectly playing into his midterm agenda, this incident will just give him the impetus he needs to push his agenda even farther.
