Question on Aliens

depends on its training.

we don't know because AI still hasn't developed self awareness. Only then we'll know if it'll be hostile or be friendly.

@soodhilodaaram as usual you missed the crux of what I meant in your quest for cheap scores at me.

You claimed that Transhumans will, with their intelligence, centralize everything efficiently, and I responded, based on speculative fiction writers, hyper intelligence leads to an interesting system of both central and decentralized systems, often at odds with each other. Try reading Iain M Banks Culture series, about a swarm of AI that creates a unique nanny state for the humans to live.

As for the science of intelligence, we have almost no data to go by on how a self aware hyper intelligent being will act. So both of us can only speculate.

Can it ever become self aware without being organic? 

Lets say it became self aware, there will be more than one AI’s and will start fighting among themselves like humans :)?

i guess if at all it becomes self aware it won’t be any different from humans except we are limited to physical boundaries.

No. False flag. The experiment was to recreate human interactions while negotiating deals, and it was shut down because the experiment was completed. Not because the bots invented a new language, which was not surprising under the scope of the experiment.

that will make them superior to humans. 

in fact they need not to be self-aware for our destruction. automation is going to kill majority of the population. those who are making suicide bombers will make killer robots.

Superior need not to harm others, as humans and less intelligent animals are co existing, it may be hurting them  indirectly though as more and more land being taken bd converted to non forest.
