vere tools are providing those off the shelf..they are too costly than Splunk.

Splunk is like Toyota, where as Newrelic, etc are like BMWetc...

Splunk lo logs collect chesi, u need to setup alerts

New Relic lo..agent install cheste..ade neeku alert pampinchestadi logs chusi..no need of that middle step.

Splunk lo logs vachaka..u need to setup extra things to get proper alert and monitoring, new relic lo aite ease of setup untadi..and many more things.

alerts kosam kaaadhu bro splunk... its for log management tool... neeeku logs kavaalante u can access splunk and look for logs.. user activity enti.. exceptions, errors etc etc...

I agree NR tho cheyyochuuu but both are complete different tools... NR is application performance monitoring where as splunk is log management tool

yes log management tool..but if u write some cool scripts to aggregate the logs, u can get monitoring from Splunk as well.

if we can get from splunk then why going for NR.. nee first post this post contradicting.. anyways... its log managment tool and doesnt compete/compare with NR

Splunk as said very expensive tool both for log management and other Analytics.

Elastic stack awesome and fantastic tool. 

If you even want APM , dyna trace is better than other apm monitors.
