no idea.. I took that above piece to India last year..

littman 3000 and above series soodu akka my brother has 3100 i think 

ideally they will not need an amplified version unless they are operating in a chaotic environment or  they(doctors) have hearing impaired 

maa vaadi clinic chowrastha lo  corner lo undhi so he got this version , also he mentioned about the breathing noises being clear (for asthma cases)
