tennisluvr Posted September 1, 2018 Report Posted September 1, 2018 Srinath is India's greatest fast bowler ever, and he will remain in that position for the next 100 years since cricket is now geared towards batsmen more than bowlers esp with the advent of T20. So it's unlikely that we will ever have a bowler in the mould of Srinath. Also, Srinath would have performed faar better esp at the peak of his youth when he routinely used to bowl at speeds exceeding 150 km/hr if not that North Indian motherboard Kapil Dev. He held up Srinath's palce in the team for a period of around 4-5 years just because this fcuker wanted to break Richard Hadlee's then record of 431 test wickets. The BCCI also played along with that moron Kapil and let him continue at the expense of giving Srinath a place in the team. If not for Mohammad Azharuddin, Srinath wouldn't even have become a regular in the team. Srinath is what he is today partly thanks to pride of Hyderabad Azzu bhai, who as the captain then fought to include Srinath into the national team. Quote
