Update: Landing done and came back to US.

VO is handling multiple cases same time, so time pattindi. na turn ragane pilichi complete ga move avutunnava leka mall vennakki veltunnava ani asked. venakki veltunna ani cheppagane, mari PR cards nuvvu ichina address ki pamuptam, akkada nuvvu vundavu kada, do you complete trust your relatives ani adigindi. yeah ani cheppa, but she said its not a good idea I am doing that. If you loose the cards it difficult to apply for them again and cards can have sensitive information and for travel purpose you can only go by land. 

Docs asked by Canada VO: passport, COPR, goods with me and goods to follow. they didn't even check my car. all happy. every one is friendly and cool. no issues here.but took almost 2 hrs to complete the process. Nenu initial ga canada enter ayina ventane checkpost daggara VO asked me to pull over into the immigration office. naku akkada parking kanapadaledu and i saw a parking lot acrooss the street, so akkadiki velli park chesa. but later realised that I actually left the customs premises and entered canada. No one stopped me, not much security. Then i went to immigration office and told them this and they were cool and told to go and bring back my vehicle. I was surprised by this cool and friendly officers. If you did this USA, it would be different story. 

Anyway after immigration went to Services Canada and applied for SIN. here I saw lot of students from india, maybe they just came for Fall adminissions. Here we had to wait in line for 10 min and then again sit for about 45 min before we got helped by an officer. No token system. process was easy and smooth, but slow. All city meters can be paid using online app and you can even extend the parking online from the app. This helped a lot as I won't have to worry about getting ticket or my car being towed away if I am late. Windsor felt like a small city and bit poor, also I feel like I saw more restaurants than people on road. Looks like most immigrants open restaurants.

Back to US: not a pleasant exp. my visa about to expire in few days and have i-797 for three more years

watch the signs and wait for the car ahead of you to leave before driving to the officer booth.

VO: no response. he was murmuring something

me:gave him passport. I have my 797 in my hand

VO: visa is expiring in few days.

me:handed him new i797

VO: enduku munde ivvaledu. ninnu adigite kani ivvava. munde anni ivvali. kurcho petti baga question chesthe appudu telustundi.. he was very very sarcastic and kind of murmuring something which i didn't understand completely. he made me feel like he was doing a favour by letting me into this country. called in secondary inspection. parked car and went into a room. there were other people too. But the officers inside the building were normal and friendly. here they just double checked my I797 and asked why visited canada. told them for completing canadian PR process. VO said you are good to go. 

One thing I realized after this trip is I am not sure even if we ever get accepted completely in this country even after you get your green card. I was very relaxed and normal when entering canada and while in canada, but tesnion started while driving back into USA. I don't know if this feeling will go away even if I get GC here. So I think I made a good decision and looking forward to move to canada in next one year.
