we only didnt win much with that team because of australia being behemoths during that time... australia ganaka antha strong lekapothe we would have had another world cup plus a couple more test series...  the best cricket team nenu choosindi aa australian team ee... not easy to win three world cups in a row (99, 03, 07 and also 96 finals) plus all the ashes (except 2005 one) and also humiliate most of the opponents so consistently... laughable to compare our current batting lineup with theirs
