Kool_SRG Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Some regular traveller posted this in Quora Yes. It is recommended to buy one there if you are settling there. But there are cases where you are in a remote part of the country with no indian stores and you will need one. Caution: Pressure cookers in luggage will be red flagged and checked. 1)Keep parts separated and empty or stuff with clothes. 2)Keep in check in luggage. If you have anything you need immediately after landing, dont keep it in this bag. It will be flagged and delayed. 3)Check in luggage must be open or with TSA lock so it can be checked without baggage damages. Otherwise lock will be broken and no damage refunds given for this case. That is the prerogative of airport and airline Security. 4)Take extra gaskets/ rubber seals, extra fail safe valves, extra whistles. You dont get spares in US and you definitely wont for prices like Rs.20. Quote
