Center GST kinda velte... they can control the price..kaani when a commodity is taxed differently by different states.. and in turn they dont want to cut their tax duty but want center to cut the prices ante..ilage untadi parisiti.. also the states which participated in Bharat Bandh today are the states with highest VAT on petrol and Diesel... Oil prices keep fluctuating in the international market every season... so its better be taxed by Central Authority..than by states individually.. appati varaku e lolli untane untadi.. Long back before Guj elections they reduced by Rs. 2 & Maharastra also by Rs.2 ippudu Rajasthan did it eyeing upcoming elections Rs2-3 reduced anthe.. Even if Petroleum products come under GST other taxes will be added so doesn't make much of difference... Quote
