Petrol GST ki osthey.. petrol konindaaniki GST refund ivvali in the next stage of production. 35% tax aina kooda, effective tax will be lesser than that, because the tax cost is distributed across the supply chain. normally aithey GST half half sharing state and center. but GST lo the tax is applied on the whole chain, and every level, you are allowed to deduct the tax that is already paid on petrol. Petrol GST lo raaka mundhu, that deduction was not possible. It'll take a serious hit in revenues from GST if petrol is included. I say it based on logic of how GST works. It may be wrong on some details. but its correct in spirit. Quote

They are happy paying whatever the rate is, in their states. Why would they care what petrol costs in the pakka state. they want low prices.. Not uniform rates. Yeah, GST on petrol will radically lower the petrol prices, but you also seem to be arguing for Re.1 lost by center etc.. etc.. so your arguments are all over the place on this. Quote

That's why your premise that this is some local politics, and against the center, is far from the truth. Quote
