Kool_SRG Posted September 12, 2018 Report Posted September 12, 2018 Fixed deposits lo peddaga emi raavu bhayya.. Also interest on it is taxable. Else if you want to invest it for say long period say 15 yrs with out taking out open a PPF (public provident fund). It has 15 lock in period. 15 yrs taravaata mature avvudi interest on it is not taxable and you can claim income tax exemption up to 1.5 Lakh per year. Minimum entha ledanna 8% interest vastadi.. You can invest atleast 500 in one go till 1.5 lakh per year.. Interest in deposited to the accounts after FY end.. Ippudu banks provide online option to open and transfer money to PPF account even Post Office have PPF.. Quote
