You have to be receptive of what he is saying Amrita and what he is saying is 100  percent true. You cannot live without money if you want to settle in USA or even in India period. These countries are not socialistic democracies. You are on your own during retirement. And you don't get pension here. That is your safety net. The more your safety net the better. You think 2 million is a huge number now. But think about it this way. After 60 or 65 years up to let's say 80-85 years, solid 20 years you will not have income and this 2 million is the income that you will have. Any major surgeries will be covered by this money. You can have the same standard of living that you have now. Else you will have to work until you are 70-75. See the unfortunate souls outside Sams club who seem to be in their 70s and still working? Some of them might have been people who lived in the present during their prime and struggling in their old age

QA do a lot of work kadha. Bollantha automation work, integration work, coding new tools for testing, creating testing strategies for different organizations within company and so on. Don't undermine their work.
