Jobs - Jobs wise the companies are spread around multiple places around Atlanta

Most of the big fi companies are in located in following sequence Downtown Atlanta, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs/Dunwoody, Marietta, Norcross, Duluth. 

Schools wise Johnscreek, forsyth, east cobb, Gwinnett, fulton(few subdivisons) have the best public schools.

Desi crowd - Desi's kuda very much dispersed,

 

North indian families (decatur/lilburn/duluth) - Home owners

South Indian families(Cumming, Alpharetta, Johnscreek) - Home owners

North/South Indian families (Dunwoody, Smyrna, buckhead) - People who live in these areas are mostly rent apartments or just Room sharing people. 

Housing - Housing market is all time high now in all areas of Atlanta. compared to bay area, you can get a Indepenedent house for the down payment amount that people do in bay area.

Weather - Weather is good for 85% of the year. ocassional snow and full rains and get little colder in winters.

Recreation - Recreation wise best place to live. Everything is accessible and with good community and lot of events happen in Atlanta. cricket league's, desi festivals are celebrated very well.

Overall, its best choice for families.

Dallas should be first choice for someone planning to move from Bay Area.

Dallas is definitely the best choice...

Now 1BHK are between 1100 - 1400 around Dunwoody, Sandy Springs and Alpharetta

A bit, it will be a lot of rain and maybe power cuts. Charlotte is so much better than Atlanta, cleaner, less crime, lesser traffic and nicer weather.
