So the division happened at grassroot level which dates back to centuries old or it's just based on some scriptures...

What indian govt should do is take a survey.. and divide people into have's and have not's and then start focusing on have not's migration to have's. Once tranistion is done denounce castes. but it'll take 100 years

Caste dependent parties will make sure that caste system is not removed... Have and have nots is the best idea...
