He was the negotiator for a defense agreement #RafaleDeal in which Anil Ambani's 1 month old Relaince Defence Ltd.,  was preferred in place of HAL which has 60 years experience in manufacturing defense planes...

3 years passed not a single plane out of 36 planes landed on Indian soil yet.. 

The debt ridden Anil Ambani's company got the benefit of getting 40,000 crs contract.. None other than PM directly proposed Relaince Relaunch in the deal.. but the PM Office denies it.. 

That's the scam..

1. Big pic here - That deal was part of MMRCA bid floated by UPA sometime in 2006 for 120+ flights for 10 billion USD with Transfer of Technology (ToT) and helping India manufacturing some flights locally (at HAL). In the case of war with China, we can hardly fight for a month. And China can do for years.
2. Importance of Technology transfer here - All participants are of 4th generation flights. At that time, most of the countries are running with 4.5 generation flights. Only the US had 5th generation flight at that time (F-22 and F-35, was not in deployment state). Fifth generation flights have stealth mode of flying undetected by the enemy radars. Now, China also has 5th generation flight. For India to manufacture our own flight with 4th generation, it will take 40 years of research and development (big money too). We tried for more than 40 years to produce flight engine and used it for running the trains due to heavy weight of the engine. Only flight we produced was Tejas (after using the French engine) which was termed by our Army as joke and they rejected it. So, to catch up with the rest of the world, we need the whole set-up of manufacturing, assembling, integrating electronics & ammunitions and repairs and maintenance. We need the technology transfer at any cost. ToT is primary aspect of the deal along with the hardware. No country will share this kind of sensitive technology. We are trying to buy first version of iPhone in 2018 with ToT.
3. About the deal - After long delays, fighter jets from 6 countries were evaluated. Interested between Eurofigther and Rafeal. Finally decided with Rafeal. Rafeal was already very expensive. Deal was in the final stages with 546Cr Rs/flight with transfer of technology to India.
4. Bodi’s decision – After coming to power, Bodi decided to scrap UPA-2 decision. He decided to go for only 36 flights. He decided go with Ambani instead of HAL. Transfer of technology biscuit now. He decided to increase the price from 546 Cr to 1600 Cr wth some additional electronics. So mitrons, you decide.

seems like you don't now the abcd of the defence deal and just blabbering here

36 planes is the g2g deal. dussault will manufacture and French govt will directly sell to ind govt

its abt the manufacture and maintenance of remaining planes is where make in india comes

govt can choose any1 over HAL. its private vs govt and we know for 60 yrs how good india was so Hal 60 yrs industry ayithe aathcare
