May be...those parts are deep inside Karnataka and completely rural...one expect such behaviors from similar places...

I don't know if you have been to malakpet or not but I find malakpet as a very good place, it that has the old city charm but commercially very accessible with all major stores and very wide roads.IMO  it is one of the good places in hyd if not the best, my cousins live near TV studio and I have some fond memories too around that place

Nasik or Nagpur or Aurangabad

For me it has always been Hyderabad.  I am a HYD city/metropolitan boy and I can't imagine staying anywhere else Other than HYD..
