In some Hindu cultures, Hindu God Ganesh is considered to be a bachelor. But there are some cultures in which he is a family man. Siddhi and Riddhi are the wives of Hindu God Ganesha. There is an interesting story which narrates how Ganesh Got Married.

As Ganesha had an elephant-head no girl was ready to marry him. While all other gods had a consort he did not have one and this angered Ganesha. He started creating problems in the marriages of Devas (demigods). He asked rats to dig up holes on the path through which wedding procession of any Deva would go to the bride’s house.
The Devas faced innumerable problems in their weddings. Fed up with the activities of Ganesha, the Devas complained to Brahma, who agreed to solve the problem.
To please Ganesha, Brahma created two beautiful women named Riddhi (wealth and prosperity) and Siddhi (intellectual and spiritual powers). Brahma gave them in marriage to Ganesha.
From that day onwards whoever pleases Ganesha also gets the blessings of Siddhi and Riddhi.
Ganesha had two sons in Riddhi and Siddhi – Shubha (Auspiciousness) and Labha (Profit).
Siddhi and Riddhi – the wives of Hindu God Ganesha – The Story of How Ganesh Got Married?

Ganesha is an eternal brahmachari (celibate). All the gods are, but they "marry" sometimes so that we people on mundane earth will understand. Thus, Ganesha married two beautiful daughters of Brahma the Creator, and they are called "Riddhi" and "Siddhi." The illumined mind and attainment. The energies or powers of God are His wives. And out of these two wives, Ganesha had two children. One is called Kshema. Another is called Labha. Labha means profit, gain of the highest wealth. And Kshema means complete protection of that highest wealth.

Ganesh literally meant to be shakthi or (idol form of energy) for which Brahma, (The mastermind) gave gifts to Ganesh which are Siddhi and Buddhi which were born out of his mind or thoughts.

This literally means to say When Ganesha is present Success (Siddhi) and (Buddhi) Wisdom are along with him

Inka chala cases lo highest and most attained position by performing Yoga and meditation provides Eight spiritual attainments called Ashta Siddhis. They were also included as ladies beside iconographic form of Ganesh to represent "one can attain the power of Astha Siddhis which are  closer to Ganesh"

These 8 powers are called as Ashta Siddi powers… which are obtainable by meditation, control of the senses, etc. All the Ashta Siddhis are present inside every human body inequal means which all are being generated by ‘Mind Powers’ itself.

1. ANIMA: Reducing one’s body even to the size of an atom (getting zero anger or sadness to disturbances in life)
2. MAHIMA: Expanding one’s body to an infinitely large size (power to look through all the universal matters)
3. GARIMA: Becoming infinitely heavy (with top knowledge)
4. LAGHIMA: Becoming almost weightless (zero egoistic form)
5. PRAPTIKA: Having unrestricted access to all places (movement of your thoughts without body to any place)
6. PRAKAMYA: Realizing whatever one desires (realization of surrounding peoples mentalities or thoughts)
7. ISITVA: Possessing absolute lordship
8. VASITVA: The power to subjugate all (feeling the power to make everyone subordinate)

When you recognize these eight siddhis in you
you will see entirely different form within you

If you can notice that person with-in you…
If you can bow your head, join your hands and become a student…
You are your own guru, who will end your doubts…

Lord Shiva gave a "varam" to Vinayaka that he will appear in whatever the form the other person would like to see him in.  So, he can change his appearance based on the other parties mindset.
