Depends on lifestyle you choose, imagine Atlanta Metro as an analog clock, the circumference of the circle is I-285, if you are living inside the circle it is called ITP (inside the perimeter), outside the circle it is OTP. 11 o'clock is where I-75 intersects 285 and the area is home to Braves Battery, Smyrna and Vinings areas offer lots of rentals. 12 o'clock is where 400 and 285 intersect, Dunwoody and SandySprings areas with lots of rental options and Marta access to downtown etc...1 o'clock is where I-85 and 285 intersect, good place for starter homes and access to Patel Brothers etc...3 o'clock to 9 o'clock is intersected by I-20, not many South Indians go south of I-20. Your 110K will go a long way on the above mentioned on the perimeter areas.

If you ever decide to rent or own a independent house, there is lots of new construction activity in the metro Atlanta suburbs, especially in the northwards of the above mentioned areas...going north on I-75. West Cobb (unincorporated Marietta), Acworth, Woodstock have decent schools, Eastcobb (unincorporated Marietta) has the best schools period, but no new construction. If you go North on 400, you get Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Cumming etc...lots of Indians and great schools except in parts of Roswell areas. Going North on 85, you get into Gwinnett county schools and Lilburn has Indian population and the prestigious Swamy Narayan Temple.

Depending on where you are relocating from, you'll need to consider traffic, heat/humidity and pollen allergies which are very important that'll impact your/your family's quality of life severely.

Hope this helps and will give you a head start, goodluck in your move/research. Take care !

110k should be ok but not big savings. Dunwoody Sandy springs cost of a 2bhk is 1600-1800. i think you can have up to 2000 savings.
