India will be paying for oil in rupees after barter trade, if anything is remaining then it will pay in rupees. basically its exchange of goods and commodities and oil producers are willing to bear the cost insurance and shipping expenses till it reaches Indian shore. This makes Iranian crude a perfect comkondity for oil refiners in india.. Its blessing in disguise in uncertain oil market...! Quote

I don’t think so...in the last 10 years, probably India is the only country which has gone beyond the IS sanctions and Indian diplomacy worked well. Even today, US responsed some what positively after India signed s400 deal with Russia...! It’s about money...! And we need cheaper oil to feed a nation as huge as India and last time too we escaped the sanctions and this time too, we will. 1 Quote
