UCO Bank was the payment partner from Indian side and there was another bank in Europe which was receiving funds and remit to Iran. But later EU also agreed for sanctions, then we looked at Turkey, then Turkey eventually fell in line with ameican sanctions too. Apudu, balances of trade receipts, 60 day credit, exchange of goods, infact one of the exchanges commondity was AC’s manufactured in india. This is how trade with Iran continued... US could not meddle in the payment system anymore. Quote
