Samantha has been a staunch supporter for equal rights and rights of women against sexual harassment. Her friend, singer Chinmayi Sripada has been vocal about this and she has been letting women keep their voices anonymous and come forward.

Till now many like Vairamuthu, Prashanth-an online critic have been exposed by her. At National level too, many women are coming forward to voice out their stories. Allegations again Alok Nath have been scariest of them all. 

Samantha on Twitter, made it clear that she is with the women in the Industry and said that this is the right way to expose sexual predators and they are saving others from these vultures. 

She tweeted, 

"I am so happy that more and more women are finding the strength to say #MeToo  . Your bravery is commendable . I am though that some people ,even other women themselves will shame and burden you with the question of proof and doubt. 

Just know that you are saving many little girls with your voice . Thank you . I support the #MeTooIndia movement" 

Many women are coming out to express their concerns and there are stories that don't really name any person but they are scary to hear also.
