Any use sending speech delay kid to India?

No one in India now thinks he is different or anything is wrong with him.. My sister is like she got her life back.. They are a happy family now..

thanks for your reply friends.The boy is also not having social skills. Not playing with other kids.Thats why doctor suggested ABA

Sending to India won't help in anyway. ABA therapies are not much available in India. Better take ABA therapies ASAP at early stage. Also most insurances cover up-to 25hrs per week of therapies with minimal out of pocket costs.

It varies from kid to kid. Some kids just need a push and they will pick up language and behavior by imitating other kids..For these kids India might work.. Some kids don't have those skills also and they need to be taught everything from scratch till they come to a certain stage..But I remember my sister telling me that for delayed kids ABA is better between ages 3 to 6. After that for social skills India will be a better option..

my 4 years old niece can talk but no one understands her, does it comes under the same category does  ABA helps?

ABA is given to kids with ASD

if the kid has spoke few words in the past and stopped talking at around 18 months, it a early sign of Autism

M-CHAT Test untadi.. do this yourselves and also ask your wife to do it.. if you both verify the scores.., it becomes apparent that the kid is having issues

most of indians think that taking to india will solve the problem, its not the case, it may become an entirely different problem

Speech delay vs behavioral problems

just speech delay ante india ki velte may improve due to more opportunities to talk, stimulation to talk

eye contact ledu, fearful, screaming, flapping, jumping, lining up toys, repeating the same words, repeating the questions, stimming .... these are all signs of autism

ABA is for ASD bro(issues with speech,social skills and other things).With only speech problem she might not come under ASD and so no ABA.But usually delayed speech is a main indicator of ASD.I recommend to get ASD evaluation

this is true if the kid is merely delayed on speech, this does not address if there are problems associated with brain

read about autism, autism is so prevalent now, speech delay is one of the symptoms of autism, lot of people get confused
