its challenging but possible.. I witnessed lot of chain smokers also quit and survived long years as non smokers

Quitting smoking is very very easy because i did it several times. LOL.

Jokes apart, If you determined strongly to quit smoking then your tongue frequently bite your lips. This means you need some sort of replacement for smoking. Try chewing Cloves, chewing gum etc and smoke only on the weekends in the beginning. I used to buy cigars during the weekend, smoke and throw away more than half packet on sunday night itself. Basically, as you might already aware(if you really stopped smoking for 3 months) quitting smoking during first 3 days is the only tough job, later on its easy. 

Daily morning and evening watch movies only for the first 5 minutes(Govt advertisement on tobacco). cigarette smoking tho vache impact videos chudu..Insurance application lo kuda the first most thing they check is "use Tobacco in past 6 months". Try to understand how dangerous it is.

During this phase avoid company of smokers or at least don't join with them while they are smoking. Nuvvu entha tagoddu ani anukunna, road pakkana veltunappudu poga vaasana tagalagaane malli taagalani anipistadi.. You need to have a iron will to quit.

PS : all my friends are smokers

impossible em kaadu roommates or company lo smokers unte.. When i quit, i used to go with my friends while they are smoking i used to stand for and once they done i come back start chit-chatting. Maneddam ani anukunte ae chinna negative kanapadina we magnify that.. inko 2 months lo birthday vastunte, ippudu maneddam ani anukunna, aa birthday nundi maneddam anukuntav.. birthday raagane, month ending nundi antav, diwali antav, new year antav, chain repeats.. goda meeda calendar years marthayi kaani manam maaram.. Its all your determination..

I see few of my friends facing serious health issues @32-33 age(senior ki 36 yrs ki open heart chesaaru paapam)

I read some where and experienced people going through the rehabilitation. 

 

When some one try to quit something like smoking or other terrible habits they go through lot of stress and emotional pain. its a long term process while you do that you will loose interest in lot of small things ( issues) in your life , you will become bold being nice to other people etc.
