I see. So has the govt prepared a report on how much is fair?

or is it just making up numbers out of thin air like CBN is doing?

Well, the allocation has been on par with most other cities...

a city which has nothing, what do you expect to demand ? Let the administration set up happen...it has given 10 years for transformation and move to a new capital but if the AP govt decided to move out, it’s their mess and something which was supposed to be given  in 10 years, Can’t be given overnight.

If the agenda of the thread is Anti-BJP, then arguing may not be worth.

Its not about the city.. Its about the state.

10yrs to move to new capital? lol. Is it even possible to work from Hyderabad without KCR interfering? even without that bribery case against CBN.

the division was acrimonious. you want them to stay in Hyd for 10yrs?

what's your agenda? My question was simple. There's no case made yet on why Amaravati shouldn't be given money. Nobody has made the economics case for it. Just political bullshit.

the agenda is simple. central govt can go fcuk itself. its not anti-BJP, but anti-center.

For people who say that Amaravati benefits only one caste..

It can be easily corrected by the next govt. by encouraging people to move there, and empowering other castes. or developing sections of the city that is not dominated by land holders of that caste. No big deal.

CBN is definitely going to lose (hope to god).. and then Amaravati can be taken off of the hands of the benefactors.

Well, it was all started by CBN and KCR ended it with a vote for note case. Why do you always look at the end result rather the things that have run up to such a thing ?

when the govt started in 2014, CBN who was also based in Hyd, tried getting Hyd under governor control, tried violating lot of things, poaching the staff, not honoring the power purchase agreements and literally in 2014, Hyd was reeling under 4 hours of power cut yet CBN did not even cared to supply extra mega watt of power even though they were kin excess then.

It all started here...and then lot of ugly things happened. As CBN was part of NDA, he tried commanding Hyd..! Tried cornering TRS...

Anyway, The end was commmg and CBN could not relapse that his days were up.

It’s a gone case for now. I’m not saying this because of CBN/TDP hatred but Amaravati will never be able to take off. It will serve as the administrative capital like Bhopal to MP, Gandhinagar to Gujarat..!

yeah. it cannot attract investments when Hyderabad has better RoI.

CBN proved he's a loser by chosing amaravati.

the question is, Is Center making this argument with numbers? or just pissing on the state of AP?

AP could have got better if CBN realized that he is in coalition where he cannot demand.

CBN was very much struck in the era of Atal Vajpayee where he demanded things. Things have changed but CBN did not...Shown the door. This is not a good thing to do especially Central Govt cannot act as a big brother to AP. Saying so, CBN could have handled this issue much better.

you don't understand.. Center could've lifted borrowing limits set by RBI for the state of AP.

then its AP's problem, and CBN's problem.

brother. Two fighting brothers cannot share the same house.

whether CBN started it, or KCR started it, is immaterial. KCR controls Hyd, and its delusional of CBN to have thought he could do the things like he owns the city. CBN proved a loser again in his limited vision.

whoever came up with the idea that Hyd capital for 10yrs is a dumbfcuk. and Andhra leaders agreesing to it are too.

It’s very easy to think that way but Indian govt will have to act as a gurantator. AP did try the IMF route but the loan was outright rejected as it did not satisfy the requirements of IMF. Indian govt could not do anything beyond this.

ADB also had the same issue. AP’s loan demand was neither the program nor a project. This was the main problem.

AP should have created a project with IMF goals, welfare and infra then should have approached. Which asshole on earth will give loan to build a city ?

Indian govt is not the guarantor for loans to state govts. Indian govt only acts like a cockblocker whenever state wishes to borrow.
