DRUG-RAVAGED Michael Jackson's body had horrifying needle marks behind his knees and even between his TOES, The Sun can reveal.

And one horrified source said yesterday: "His body was a virtual pin cushion when he died.

"Whoever was administering his drugs would have done so knowing he was an addict in a terrible state."

Veins in Jacko's arms had collapsed and dodgy medics had resorted to pumping massive doses of painkillers into any useable blood vessels they could find.

The post-mortem showed marks where needles appeared to have been inserted into veins behind his knee caps.

And marks between his toes suggested he used an injection method favoured by desperate junkies.

The shock discoveries were disclosed as police inquiries intensified into the conduct of doctors close to Jacko, especially personal physician Dr Conrad Murray and dermatologist Dr Arnold Klein.

The star is believed to have spent years spaced out on a mind-boggling array of prescription drugs and painkillers. Some reports say he blew around £30,000 a month on medications.
