the board comes with 2gb ram, and 8gb sd card. I got a 32gb card. I can get a 256gb card if I want to. and we put some more RAM, because I'm going to run Xen on it. I can put even more RAM if I want to.

32gb is enough for now. I have about 18gb free space after installing OS. and matlab.

It has a battery similar to your mobile 4000mah. and gives about 5hrs on regular usage. It weighs about as much as your mobile. the OS runs very smooth.

got it. i wanted to try raspberry pi .. but never experimented.. i use ubuntu in desktop connected to tv.. use it for streaming nfl streams.. never did any good.. windows 

good question, if you ask why I use Matlab. Its only to test if it can handle the load. I will uninstall it, and install open source programs in its place, that are far lighter and more relevant to me.

raspberry is too underpowered.  ubuntu is bloated. its ARM kernel hangs a lot.

didn't use windows after '95.  after discovering linux.
