He don't own a house yet, are there any disadvantages of moving to bay area to work in elite companies ? considering current visa conditions and not thinking of home anytime soon, what are the longterm advantages/disadvantages of moving to bay considering only the rents and housing to be extremely high. What if the new salary negates the rent expense ? Quote
