Another interesting observation came to light after the agriculture officials conducted a survey after payment of insurance amount to the deceased family members is that the balance in the accounts prior to the deposit of Rs 5 lakh Rythu Bhima insured amount was less than Rs 1,00 in most of the cases which reflecting the weak economic status of the family and official felt that the scheme brought tremendous help to the bereaved families. “The officers are also advising nd counseling the nominees to utilize or invest the amount judiciously so as to have a regular source of income for their future livelihood,” Parthasarathi said.
