enough of facts. Now opinion.

The difference between India and Venezuela is very very simple. 

In venezuela, the whites (European ancestry) have not been able to capture power since 1999. They make up about 45% of the population. and are pissed off at this.

Meanwhile in India, the brahmins (and other uppercastes) have consistently been in power.

more opinion:

The beauty of Venezuela is, the socialist parts. The entire country is not socialist, but parts are, and the govt supports these parts. and its amazing how well it works, inspite of the corruption.

Like for example. The govt organizes a farmers meeting once every couple months to decide on what to grow, and how to source the seeds, how to distribute it, etc. The president takes part in that. about a million farmers do too.. They have to do this because the private sector that controls the supply chain in Venezuela is opposed to the current govt. and sometimes indulges in price gouging just to attempt to overthrow the govt.

This system feeds about 5million people. and that's why people in Venezuela may fall short of some goods, but they are not starving. 

The often brandied figure of 300,000% inflation (inflated number by IMF, it may be about one-tenths that,  which is still huge), still hasn't contracted the economy by much. Venezuelan economy contracted by 5% last year..  which was true of many european countries too during the 2008-09 crash. so all's not over yet.

more opinion:

European Union election watchers commended Venezuelan election process as close to the world's best. So people who claim vote rigging etc.. lol at you.

The last time Maduro (the current president) was elected in 2013, 80% turned to vote. and he won by a whisker against the right wing candidate.

the recent elections though, opposition boycotted it, in the hope of delegitimizing Maduro, because they knew he can't be defeated electorally. But then one person finally did get registered to run, and promptly lost by 70 - 20 % share. haha..

ofcourse only about 50% turned out to vote this time.Most opposition voters didn't vote. 

is Indian election fair???? the Election Commission won't even allow for inspecting the voting machine. Venezuela gives paper receipt of your choice, of which you can keep one, and put the other one in the box nearby. The paper will be counted in case the voting machine is contested.

and some losers call this rigged? haha.. especially Indians. you should have some shame ba.

per capita of Venezuela has stayed steady and has even decreased in the lat 20yrs. because Chavez and Maduro are busy building up a generation of people who were fcuked by colonial powers, and used as just extraction machines.

I believe in our EC....but have to look at next elections results.....that's a true deciding factor of integrity of EC
