I don't know how you approached your dealer but I got my first car under new grad program they didn't even care for my credit score.

I got car, youth lo vunnappudu teliyale but after certain period, paying monthly payments is pain bro.

If you could manage it without a car that's the best thing to do or else manage to buy a car within 5k enjoy it while you earn and save more US lo aithe financial n legal stability is more than anything else if you see yourself staying in the country for longer time.

once you get stability go for a good one, job uncertain unnappudu don't gamble in buying new car and getting yourself stressed out.
