even at the height of soviet union prosperity (50s, 60s), people were unhappy, because they didn't have a stake.

yes they got great education (some of it propaganda, but not very different from US propaganda), they had good distribution system in place, atleast in the beginning, but it all unravels if people don't have a stake in their country.

politicians are the least evil. simple.

I already pointed to you political innovation that happened in Spain, Ukraine, and sustained it for 3-4yrs with more than a few million people participating in it,  fighting (military fight) agaisnt 4-5 different enemies, one of which is a social democratic (current system we have), and other fascists like Nazis, Italian fascists.

Commercial innovation actually worsens human condition, because it benefits the richest, while putting everyone else under surveillance.

yes we need political innovation, and the blue print is already available, but people are too busy with other stuff. like buying the next cool gadget that is in the market.

read up on Rojava, north western Syria area. 

that's where the world's greatest society is being built right now. But it will crushed violently soon. even US support to it is just namesake, while they provide equipment to its enemies.

such societies cannot exist in isolation. 

the strong among humans are too depraved, short sighted, the weak among them are cowardly. 

politicians are the bulwarks that stop the society from falling into chaos. Its true. atleast of India.

Scientific knowledge can free humans, and encourage a better society.

Not commercial innovation.

Elon Musk will make the society worse. not better. 

but if you create systems where Elon Musk's engineers can work together without the bloviator in chief, and get paid/credit for their work, while also expanding on it, without interference from the asshole Musk, now that's innovation.

praising Elon Musk to the sky is the kind of thing that slaves do.

everybody knows about Rojava. its not a big thing. 

I listen to radio stations which is full of which riot happened where in the world (including in India), where police repression happened, where people are fighting back and how. about 75 mins per week.

you don't have to have vast information, or be in touch with everything.

you just have to be in touch with yourself, and have a sense of justice, which most people lack, and definitely almost nobody in this db has.

the least ppl can do is to not justify bullshit like muslims are killed for beef, with "its worse in Saudi", or dalits getting beaten with "it happened in Congress rule too".

these ppl have already lost it. If you keep silent and atleast react to what happens in your family, its more than enough. but the people above mentioned, they are already lost. and they are probably going to raise some really psycho kids.
