అమృత్‌సర్‌: పంజాబ్‌లోని అమృత్‌సర్‌లో రావణ దహన వేడుకల్లో పెను విషాదం చోటుచేసుకుంది. నవరాత్రి వేడుకల్లో భాగంగా స్థానికులు జోదా ఫటక్‌ ప్రాంతంలోని రైల్వే ట్రాక్‌కు సమీపంలో రావణ దహన కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. అదే సమయంలో హోవడా రైలు రావడంతో పెను ప్రమాదం జరిగింది. ట్రాక్‌పై నిలుచుకున్న వారిపై రైలు దూసుకెళ్లడంతో 50 మందికి పైగా ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. విషయం తెలుసుకున్న పోలీసులు ఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకున్నారు. మృతుల సంఖ్య మరింత పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు సమాచారం. ఈ రైలు పఠాన్‌కోట్‌ నుంచి అమృత్‌సర్‌ వెళ్తోంది.
