Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava has done decent until Dussera weekend although it is yet to breakeven.

The film has collected somewhere around Rs. 83 crore till now and is likely to go past Srimanthudu’s full run share to become the top 6 movie on the all time list.

It still needs to go a fair distance to beat Khaidi No. 150/Bharat Ane Nenu to enter the top 5 list.

With collections coming crashing down post Dussera, Aravindha Sametha has little chance to go up the ladder.

However, the bloated numbers are still in circulation and a couple of websites and box office tracking Twitter handles are also publishing the inflated revenues.

For instance, Aravindha Sametha hasn’t collected at least seventy percent of Rangasthalam’s revenues anywhere in Nizam. But the eleven days numbers of Aravindha Sametha are more or less equal to the eleven days numbers of Rangasthalam!

They are claiming that the film has crossed Rs. 20 crore share mark in Nizam, whereas in reality it is more than Rs. 2 crore short of the claimed number.

Looks like the PR team’s only aim is to make people believe that the film has collected Rs. 100 crore share by the end of Aravindha’s theatrical run. In reality, collecting Rs. 90 crore share looks unlikely as of now, said our trade sources.

Interestingly, neither the producers nor the distributors are coming up with these tall claims except for a few paid websites and social media handles!

BAN Fake Collections Annoy Ram Charan?

Hero Ram Charan is discontented and enraged withhis producer DVV Danayya.

It is known that Charan is doing two films with Danayya -- one directed by Boyapati Srinu is currently on sets and the other under the direction of Rajamouli will start later this year.

It is really interesting that Charan is miffed with his producer at this point of time.

Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam has turned out to be the biggest hit of the year for now. The film directed by Sukumar provided huge profits for all the buyers and it is still doing wonderful business at the box-office.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s new film Bharat Ane Nenu directed by Koratala Siva and produced by DVV Danayya had released and the movie has also become a big hit.

However, they opted for wrong publicity. The makers released new posters to announce that BAN crossed Rs 200 cr gross so as to please Mahesh Babu fans.

Producers of Mythri Movie Makers who have good association with Mahesh Babu, they also have a film lined up with the superstar. They have stopped all promotions for Rangasthalam to help BAN.

It is said that fans have informed Charan about the real intentions of Rangasthalam producers behind stopping the movie promotions.

Charan was also informed that Bharat Ane Nenu makers will be releasing a new poster to announce the film grossing Rs 200 cr in two weeks.

Buzz is that Charan is irked with this and is said to have called Danayya and expressed his unhapiness.

He is said to have asked about fake collections of BAN and about slowing down promotions of Rangasthalam.

It is learnt that Charan has also skipped two days of shoot of his ongoing project to express his displeasure.

So, to cool Charan, they have released a poster with Rs 190.63 cr gross, instead of Rs 200 cr gross.

It is also heard that Charan is still unhappy over Danayya for fake publicity and Mythri Movie Makers for stopping Rangasthalam promotions completely when the movie is performing well in theatres.

The sad tragedy of Fake Collection Reports by the Producers is growing in Tollywood. Sadly, this trend has caught up even with low-budget producers these days. Tollywood had a dream summer with 'Naa Peru Surya' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. 





Mahesh Babu who suffered two back-to-back disasters bounced back with 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. But now the movie has been facing shame due to false publicity claims. The Producers of 'BAN' released a poster claiming that the movie collected Rs.200 Crores in 3 weeks and it's obvious they have inflated the collections which are very far from reality.



The same happens with Allu Arjun's 'Naa Peru Surya'. On the Ironical note, both the movies convey a hard-hitting message to the society, but sadly they fail to follow it. When are producers going to learn that a real success is based on the way audience enjoy it in the theaters and not at the Box-Office?

Rs 100 Cr club in Bollywood is passe but for a regional movie industry, this is huge achievement. So far, only five Telugu movies have garnered Rs 100+ Cr share.

Rajamouli’s epic fantasy “Baahubali” dramas have created records that hard to be broken any time soon.

Today, all stars are aiming for non-Baahubali records and Ram Charan set new record with “Rangasthalam” with a huge margin.

“Rangasthalam” is now all-time third highest grosser after “Baahubali” movies. Surprisingly, Mahesh Babu’s “Bharat Ane Nenu” also crossed Rs 100 Cr mark slowly.

Although the producers, are posting false figures, it finally crossed the total share of ‘Khaidi No 150’ worldwide and stands at fourth position.
