Definitely not legal. But unless the company verifies the status and asks to update the I9 form it is going to be out there

Inka payroll + taxes + immigration ane combo lo too many grey areas. Depends on how every one is willing to take that risk.

She will loose her cap gap and it will be in her history for 10 long years  She will be black listed ........ its  illegal to work 1 hour also ............

They can work until the current EAD expires. it's just that they can't work after the expiry of current EAD. assuming that they don't file again in the mean time

in year 2005 it was very strict ...................... for opts  and cpts ......... if you take cpt for more than 11 months you are out from applying opt and h1

It is completely illegal. Please send her details and I will take action asap. Aunty might think she can file 498A if someone asks her to stop from her work.
