Most of the people still go to walmart, choose the product and scans with amazon app. If it is cheaper then they will buy from amazon. 

Walmart is surviving because of their inhouse products Ex: greatvalue

So far amazon grew in terms of infrastructure and from past 2 years it is utilizing it. (Podduna office nundi order chesthe, evenig intiki vache lopala door mundu untundi).

I agree that these kind of features are making us lazy.

Nenu last weeked Walmart ki vellina, out of 15 regsiters 10 registers were completely open. I took help of one associate she directed me the location of the item, i went there there came back in 10 mins. I still see almost 10 regsiters open. I have never seen walmart like that in my 10 years of walmart shopping exp.

Few disadvantages of Physical shopping like there is no guarantee of availability fo the product, need to extract the time, need to drive all the way, need to stand in line for buying and return, end up buying unnecessary stuff, kids unte malli adoka extra bokka (kanapadinavi anni kaavali antaru).

That model is going to squeeze out nearly every single online reseller in the near future. Amazon wants this to happen- its the best way for them to have the absolute lowest pricing on the products.

Inhouse products never bring good margin.. They are just their to create market presence infact greatvalue or costcos'  kirkland are manufactured by other prominent brands like kimberly clark or something that's popular in that category.

Sam's already have this option. You can buy items through your phone tonight and next day you can drive through the pickup center and they will come to your car and put it in trunk.

Walmart is able to maintain low prices just because of its wide variety of inhouse products. Like Mainstays is a biggest supplier of providing lower-priced lines of bedding, kitchen utensils, ready-to-assemble furniture, and home decor.

Even Carters Company specially design some cloths exclusively sell at Walmart. There are several different strategies like this. I used to work at Walmart (Corporate) and i know few strategies they follow.

For me Other than Publix store, i need to drive atleast 5 miles for any store like walmart, sams, costco, target etc and most of them different different directions.
