voter ID is there, what's the need for Aadhar?

actually there's no need of voter ID too.. like everywhere in Europe, even driving licenses would do to cast your vote.

I'm calling for more people to vote (if they want to).. you are calling for restriction of people from voting, which is what Aadhar is.

transparency from whom? from people who vote? or people who beg for votes? which should come first?

Voter ID has been here for a while now and we all know how it works...

it is not a tamper proof voter identification...

there's the electoral roll for that. what does it have to do with Aadhar?

what we are talking about is restricting people from voting, not who deserves to go on the rolls.

so dummy candidate ni petti, venaka nundi aadisthaaru antaav. anthey na?

but it'll give chance to lot of idealistic youth to also take part in the race, and upset their plans.

if democracy is what you want (and I dont want it), then the best chance you have is when you have as many aggrieved people as possible join the system.

yeah, my points are crap. any electoral system can be easily manipulated. no wonder I'm against elections itself.

actually anyone who has any valid ID that proves that they live in the place should just be allowed to vote.

In fact I think, even people on H1B with a valid govt issued card, like driving license should be allowed to vote.

because its their choice of leaders that are governing India now, and its still the same sh1t. if fact, it has gotten much worse.
