TDP STOOPS DOWN TO A NEW LOW BY YVB

Telugu Desam Party MLC Y V B Rajendra Prasad had made an inhuman statement on the attack on Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

Though the TDP leaders, including Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, have been making fun of the attack on Jaganmohan Reddy, even before the preliminary investigation into the incident was completed, the comments of Rajendra Prasad had further lowered the image of the TDP in the incident.

The TDP leaders have tried to link the attacker to the YSR Congress party and have brought out a flex hoarding with the photographs of the attacker and Jaganmohan Reddy. Though the flex has the Pongal greetings and the photograph of Jaganmohan Reddy, it misses the photograph of late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, a compulsory image that all YSR Congress sympathizers are expected to follow. The missing of the Rajasekhar Reddy’s photograph raises doubts over the genuinity of the flex. Moreover, it contains the picture of an eagle which is not the habit of any Telugu person as they don’t admire the bird.

The second question on this flex evidence is that if that contained the Pongal greetings and it comes from the Godavari districts it obviously contains a photograph of the rooster representing the festive season. Surprisingly, there is no rooster photo on the flex which gives rise to several questions.

Beyond these evidences, MLC Rajendra Prasad had come out with a statement that Jaganmohan Reddy’s mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmila were behind the murder attempt. To justify his statement, the TDP MLC said that Jaganmohan Reddy had kept these two women from the family away from power and they want power by eliminating the son/brother. He went on to say that both Vijayamma and Sharmila have planned the attempt so that they can become the Chief Minister with the party winning the election on sympathy.

Surprisingly, several of the TDP leaders and sympathizers have felt this statement of the MLC ill-tasted. One wonders why this MLA had made such a statement in the run to cover-up the party’s alleged involvement in the attempt
