This is not correct. check the votes, bihar lo negligible votes. UP lo except 1-2 constituencies its negligible too. only sambhal it did decent and there turks are 90% population. so bjp never had a chance.

Maharashtra lo yes it did help bjp in few constituencies, but after that most parties in their campaign make turks aware not to vote mim ani

well, I'm talking about the strategy , not the effectiveness of the strategy...maharastra lo baaga polarise ayi BJP did get benefited in three way fight...shiv sena, BJP  and Congress fight la...winning margins came low and muslim vote neutral ayessariki it realy worked well in Maharastra...However, same cannot be expected else where although UP and Bihar lo kuda tried but akada local politics antha caste and fear mida nadustayi...
