Android_Halwa Posted November 6, 2018 Report Posted November 6, 2018 As per official figures(non-media) http://niti.gov.in/content/literacy-rate-7years AP's literacy rate is 67%. TG doesn't figure in the 'official statistics' yet as the census of 2021 is not started yet. Census will ne kicked off mid 2019 and will be completed by end of 2020 and will be tabled as Census 2021 where 'official' figures for TG and literacy rates will be published. Any other figures other than these, are not official sources of information and cannot be held accountable and does not reflect the reality. Ivi nenu vesina 'official figures' and source is NITI Aayog. At any day, Deccan chronicle figures kante NITI AAYOG figures are much dependable. Over to tuesday pulka Quote

uttermost Posted November 6, 2018 Report Posted November 6, 2018 literacy rate among ages 6-19 is the best indicator of progress. TG/AP is around 90s in that.UP/Bihar/Raj is in 60s in that too. there's no comparison. btw, TN is 99.something.. Quote

uttermost Posted November 6, 2018 Report Posted November 6, 2018 one more factoid. TG is probably the second or third highest GER graduation enrollment ratio. means number of people going to college after school. first is ofcourse TN. Delhi not counted because its not a state. even if counted, delhi and TN are about the same. Quote
