 The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Tuesday fined Karachi Bakery for selling unhygienic food. It had collected three samples from the food joint and had sent them to the food sampling testing lab for further investigation.

A customer had lodged a complaint with the civic body after finding worms in a sealed chocolate box which was purchased from the Karachi Ameerpet branch. According to GHMC Food Safety Inspector, Mr. Sudharshan Reddy, the corporation has penalised the eatery with s 5,000.

“Though Karachi was not the manufacturer of the sold product, it has been fined for selling unhygienic food. The corporation as a safety measure, has collected three more samples and sent it to the food sampling testing lab in Nacharam for further investigation,” he said.

Sindhi galla family business mothu valladi. lalwani family(other family) that now runs sindh bakery @patny were earlier suppliers to the karachi bakery. There also rumors that some karachi bakery stores would be renamed as Sindh bakery(family seperation I believe)

Atleast until few years all their stores were company owned(family owned) and didn’t know they franchised stores.

Yes pick n move ledu ga now !! It stopped doing well after Dadu’s came few blocks away .
