Comedy of Kathmandu:

The estimates have come down from last 4 years.May be the prices of raw materials and USD rates have come down in CBN kingdom.But when it comes to Polavaram and and central projects AP govt is escalating prices every year

PPT old :Rs 13,488 crores estimate (for 45 km length) : if it is given to Private parties-PPP mode (commissions added)

PPT old 2:Rs 9,500 crores estimate (for 42.55 kms):PPP mode

PPT Fresh:Rs 8,300 crores estimate (for same  42.55 kms): cos now it is State Govt Project (less commissions added/sharing levels reduced)

First tell me logic why the project cost reduced from 13.5k crores to 8.5k crores for almost same work..

From first estimate to latest estimate almost 5K crores difference.Somebody would have pocketed them if the first estimate has been approved
