Bernie Sander's universal healthcare would cost US govt more than $1.2 trillion every year according to an estimate. I don't think that is feasible...taxes will be raised like anything...that is something no independent would agree upon.

But the problem here is the fake news media is projecting Dems gaining the house as a major victory..when it was actually not as Obama lost 67 House seats & 9 Senate seats but yet managed to win 2012 same with Clinton...lost too many house & senate seats.....But Trump just lost 27 seats but managed to win not just majority a gain of +2 senate seats & won governorships although lost Wisconsin..The negative side of this reporting is that if the house dems start working with Trump it might make them angry.....or if they're too much carried away they wouldn't show the same enthusiasm as they showed in midterms for voting. But the Republicans have always been very active the ballot box & will definitely turnout in large numbers to defend their candidate in 2020.

who cares man. polls say that even reps favour universal healthcare according to latest poll. If it costs whatever, it costs. nothing is free. like you guys say, pay the tax or go find another country to live in. hahaha..

btw, It doesn't cost $1.2T per yr. That's like half the federal budget. If anything, it'll save more money for the govt, and for the people collectively, even though some will end up paying more tax.

My analysis is that Trump will sail through 2020 comfortably because if Dems start working with Trump now that they have the house, what actually did Dem voters vote for? For more bi-partisanship or to cause him trouble..this will definitely effect their turnout & as usually Repubs will have a very good turnout....If Dems fail to deliver on the promises they made during their term at the house...they'll not be reelected again...Repubs always have advantage with Senate & slightly with the House...So Dems cannot always Resist.
